1971 Chevrolet Custom 10 Pickup Truck
It will be hard to find another truck like this one.
The classic Chevrolet Custom 10 pickup truck is an amazing survivor!
Nearly 40 years after rolling off the assembly line and going to service,
she is still going strong. The faded dealership sticker on her tailgate
suggests she has been a Michigan truck her whole life, sold in Caro, Michigan.
The 292 I-6 engine is in good shape and is paired with the three-on-the-tree
manual transmission, which shifts effortlessly. The front power disc brakes
work great and the steering is quick and effortless without the power assist.
The interior is in amazing condition! The green bench seat looks new
and the dash is near flawless. The driver door has a few blemishes starting to appear.
The AM radio even works, but plays softly. When you open the glove box,
you will notice the Service Parts Identification label. Just 39,725 miles show on her
odometer.
Considering the truck’s condition, we believe the miles are original,
but there is no documents proving its authenticity.
Over the years, the paint has picked up a couple of nicks
which have been nicely touched up and minor surface scratches and dins.
She stands tall next to any other unrestored original truck we have seen.
The truck bed is in amazing shape, protected by a removable “Skid Guard” bed
liner.
