1972 Chevy Truck
Sold in 3 days!
Amazing!
Thank you!

POSTED 8/7/2007 - AL
1972 Chevrolet shortbed pick-up. This truck is in
excellent condition.
Frame-up restoration completed in 2003.
Newly rebuilt 350 crate engine and newly rebuilt 700R4 (overdrive) automatic
transmission (with transmission cooler) installed in late 2006.
3500 miles on the engine and trans, and 30K miles since frame-up
restoration.
A/C blows cold - combination Hot Rod Air and upgraded stock A/C system
(installed in 2004; upgraded in 2006).
New Energizer battery as of late 2006.
New AM/FM/CD/Sirius stereo and Viper Alarm installed in 2006.
New window tint, 2006.
New radiator installed in 2004.
Frame-up restoration included new doors, new fenders, new bed sides, sand
blasted and painted frame, all metal treated with anti-corrosive on both
sides prior to paint, Line-Ex sprayed in bed liner, new chrome trim, beefed
up suspension, re-covered seat, door panels, dash and visors, and new
carpet. Engine comes with Blackjack headers, stainless exhaust, Eidlebrock
aluminum intake and 4BBL carb, and Moroso chrome valve covers.
Fresh Texas Inspection sticker - July '07.
Fresh oil change - July '07.
Fresh wax - July '07.
Truck has sliding rear window and tow-hitch.
Immediately following the frame-up restoration, I drove this truck 1700
miles from Virginia to San Antonio.
Since then, I have taken it on 5 or 6 trips in excess of 500 miles.
I drove this truck as a daily driver for almost 2 years - I had private
parking.
Although very nice, it is certainly dependable enough to again be a daily
driver.
It has been in storage for about 8 months, but I just drove it 350 miles
from my farm in East Texas back to San Antonio.
I wouldn't hesitate to drive this truck to either coast and back again.
This truck is not only beautiful, but solid and dependable.
I'm selling because I am likely going overseas for several years, I can't
bear to let it sit in my barn in East Texas while I'm gone, and I haven't
another storage solution. It needs a good home.
