1956 GMC Truck

1956 GMC Truck
I am located in Longview Tx.
This old truck was in the restoration process
when the man that was building it got to sick to finish, so he put it in storage.
It sat there for five years until he past away,
then i ended up with it and i just have to many irons in the fire,
got to sacrfice one project to finish another.
It has a 350 with a turbo 350 auto transmission.
Has a ford 9inch rearend and new exhaust.
The brake system does not work the peadal is on the floor
i think the system just bled off over the years.
I have plenty of pics to send to you.
I dont have the crome or the steps that are missing.
The truck does run good. I put new plugs in it and new gas and a new battery.
It turned over a few seconds then busted off.
The automatic choke does work idles just a little high at first start up
then after about a minute drops to regular idle.
Has a little lope to it, like it might have an after market cam
but the heads and the intake are stock for a 350.
Is not the original engine.
