1948 Chevy Truck
POSTED 4/17/2007 - AL
1948 Chevrolet Loadmaster dump truck,
this truck is in running condition with a recently replaced clutch.
It has been converted to 12 volt and has an alternator on the original straight 6 motor.
Original radio included, not working.
Dump bed is 7’ 9” wide and 12’ long and works fine.
Seats are bucket, not original to truck.
Original redwood bed is beneath the diamond plate.
Extra lights have been added making this truck really stand out at night.
This truck has a two speed rear axel and 4 speed manual transmission.
I have been told this is a 1 ½ or 2 ton truck.
Top speed is 50 miles per hour, engine has governor.
Major head turner and fantastic parade truck.
