This is a 1956 Chevrolet 3100 series custom truck built to drive, but it’s nice enough for the local show circuit. I’ve had it for a couple years and have driven it regularly both in town and on the highway. This truck received a complete restoration in both cosmetics and mechanicals before I purchased it. I’ve made only minor additions and just enjoyed it! The truck has a straight steel body and 2-tone interior, and is in very good to excellent condition with only some minor paint/glass defects from normal use (all sealed to prevent spreading). It can easily be a daily driver and is definitely a “head turner”.

The truck has a 350 V8 professionally rebuilt and is equipped with aluminum intake, Edelbrock finned aluminum valve covers, 4bbl carburetor, ceramic headers to dual exhaust, upgraded ignition, 3 speed automatic transmission (rebuilt - shifts great), power steering, air conditioning/heater, front disc brakes, American Racing wheels (255/70/15), new exterior chrome, tilt steering column, Dakota digital gauge cluster, power windows, detailed custom 2-tone brown vinyl/tan cloth interior, Blue-Dot tail lights, frenched antenna, chrome mirrors, and Optimus AM/FM cassette. The bed has been coated with a textured bed liner and looks great.
The doors seal tightly with good rubber seals. The windows fit well in the tracks and have new felt strips to protect the glass. The door panels have integrated power window switches and 2-tone cloth and vinyl. The headliner and seating is restored to match. The bucket seating is separated with a brown vinyl center armrest section. This truck is fitted with a tilt steering column as well as a well lit Dakota digital dash cluster specific to this model that fits the dash as the original factory bezel instruments would. The air conditioning system controls have chrome housing as well.
The engine compartment is clean and detailed. The 350 ci engine runs strong and shows cosmetic upgrades. The inner fenders are steel and straight as is the firewall. The core support shows custom chrome features.
This is a great driving truck and gets a lot of appreciative waves as it goes down the road. There are less than 8000 miles on the engine since restoration.
You can drive it “as is” and use it as a daily driver or make it a show winner with a little effort. $24,500 (all offers considered)

This the second vehicle I've sold on Old Chevy Truck. It's a great way to reach people who are truly interested and knowledgeable of older and restored trucks - not like those who are just "window shopping" or looking for the cheapest deal of the day. Great reach to the right audience!
